Peer Support

CDH Australia provides support to all families throughout their CDH journey.

Online support groups

Our private Facebook support groups allow families to openly share their CDH experiences.

To join, contact us by email or send a message on Facebook.

Our Facebook groups:

CDH Australia Private Facebook Support Group – open to all Australian families affected by CDH with focus on supporting expectant parents.

Raising CDHers – CDH Australia Private Facebook Support Group – for Australian families who are raising a child born with a diaphragmatic hernia.

Adult Survivors – CDH Australia Private Facebook Support Group – for adults who were born with a diaphragmatic hernia.

Bereaved Families – CDH Australia Private Facebook Support Group – for Australian families who have lost a child to CDH.

Rainbow Babies – CDH Australia Private Facebook Support Group – for bereaved parents with children born after their CDH experience.

Parent-to-parent matching

We offer parent-to-parent matching, enabling families who have experienced similar CDH situations to get in contact and gain support from each other.

Make a Donation

CDH Australia is led by volunteers and relies heavily on donations.

All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible and can be made in honour or memory of individual CDH children.
